After a long geological age, due to accumulation and crustal movement, the Himalayas were squeezed and violently uplifted to form Mount Everest.

Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world, is located on the border between China and Nepal, with an altitude of 8,000 meters. This is the limited height of human survival.

Mount Everest is 8848.86 meters above sea level, which has completely exceeded the limit of human survival. So it is also called "Desperate Altitude Mountain".

But the scenery here is also haunting. Generations of mountaineering enthusiasts have paid a lot of money to climb to the top and even paid for their own lives. So, what about the Everest climbing route?

As of today, humans have discovered 19 routes to climb Mount Everest, of which, except for two commercial routes, the remaining 17 routes are traversed by climbers from all walks of life at different times.

Mount Everest is a holy place, and climbers with traditional mountaineering spirits have been trying to explore its different charms.

Mount Everest climbing routes can be divided into the south slope route, the north slope route and other 17 routes. Most of them choose the south slope route and the north slope route to climb the mountain, but only more than 100 people choose these 17 routes to climb Mount Everest.

1. Mount Everest climbing route: southwest

The southwest face of Mount Everest is located in Nepal. This is also the most difficult part of the Everest climbing route. Four routes have been discovered so far, the earliest was discovered in 1975 and the latest was discovered in 2009.

2. Mount Everest climbing route: northeast ridge

Turning from the North Col to the Northeast Ridge is the traditional route on the north side and the route most explored by humans. It was explored by the British mountaineer Mallory in the 1920s, and it has become a traditional summit route on the north side.

3. Mount Everest climbing route: west ridge to north wall route

The route was pioneered by the US team and reached the summit on May 22, 1963.

From the glacier on the south side to the west ridge and turn to the Hornbein trough on the north wall. In 1963, Norman Dyhrenfurth, the leader of the US Mount Everest mountaineering team, succeeded in climbing to the summit from the south slope of Mount Everest in Nepal along the southwest ridge.

The US team conducted two assaults 21 days apart. For the first time, two people climbed to the summit on May 1, and for the second time, four people climbed on May 22, and a total of six people went up the two times. This is the fourth mountaineering team to climb Mount Everest.

4. Mount Everest climbing route: east route

There are two routes on the east wall of Mount Everest, and they have successfully climbed to the summit four times. Only 13 people reached the summit. Although the two climbing routes on the east wall are extremely difficult and dangerous, these two routes are also routes where no one was killed.

We have to choose a time when the weather is better. From the beginning of September to the end of October is the autumn when the rainy season transitions to the windy season.

During this period, there may be better weather, which is the best season for climbing. In addition, you must bring the necessary equipment for climbing. Warm clothing and backpacks need to be prepared, as well as technical equipment and camping equipment.
